I am the current 5-12 band and 7th grade general music teacher at HDCS.  I am originally from Herkimer, NY, and taught band and general music for several years in Charlotte, NC.  I have a bachelors degree in music education with a concentration in special music education from The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, and a masters degree in tuba performance from The University of Akron. I continue to be an active performer, and have played with The Orchestra of Northern New York, and Northern Symphonic Winds.
