Hello,

Welcome to middle school and high school AIS. I am a graduate of Hermon-DeKalb Central in 1998. My wife Amy and I have been married for seventeen years and we have a fourteen-year-old son Gavin, and a dog named Willie Nelson. 

I am in my fourth year of teaching at Hermon-DeKalb. I have taught every grade from kindergarten thru fifth grade, and this year I am working on my certification to teach English fifth thru ninth grade as well as finishing my Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. 

What I am doing in class this year is utilizing different tools to help students who may need additional supports in literacy. I work in conjunction with the academic intervention services and exceptional student educational departments.
